Process and Reasoning: http://www.suzukimusic.ca This was a large job that included designing and creating a new SuzukiMusic Ottawa website and logo that was much more welcoming and "professional-looking." Through several iterations I found that a light colour scheme coupled with blue highlights helped set a welcoming environment that was neither too kid-friendly or adult oriented. I also added some expressive violin graphics in the header and sidebars to represent the artistic endeavour of music. I found that using a slight "paper-look" also allowed me to build a site that has much visual interest and texture without being overbearing or overly complicated. The new design also required that I take quite a few pictures during group classes to replace some of the older versions they had.
